What is Coaching?

Coaching is about enabling you to meet your goals by helping you to see things from a different perspective, remove blockers, and give you the confidence to move forward. It is always accompanied by actions to be implemented, which guarantees progress and results.

Coaching is for everyone. It's all about growth, motivation and responsibility. Everyone can benefit from coaching, from the most effective and influential leaders to a new graduate to a full-time mom. If you want to take your life or work to the next level, coaching is for you. All it takes is an open mind and a willingness to do the work!

The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as an alliance between the coach and the client in a process that engages the client in reflection and creativity to maximize personal and professional potential.

What is the ICF?

Founded in 1995, the International Coach Federation (ICF) is the leading global organization that sets high standards, providing independent certification and guidance for a worldwide network of accredited coaches. I am certified and coach according to the ICF Code of Ethics.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching is present and future-focused (we discuss where you are today and where you want to go) and is non-directive (I will never tell you what to do, but I help you to figure it out for yourself). Coaching allows you to clarify your present situation and to identify what you want to do in the future, then how to implement it to go from point A to point B.

Coaching is a "building" process, whereas therapy is more dedicated to "care". Therapy is indicated for analytical work on the past, to heal mental pathologies, or to overcome psychological suffering.

Will coaching cost me?

I like to answer this question by saying that nothing is expensive in absolute terms.

The notion of cost is relative to the benefits you will get from it. Often, these benefits have no "price". For example, how much do you value your happiness? Getting up every morning with a smile on your face? Doing a job you are passionate about? Being in better health?

I believe that it is especially important to know how to invest in yourself at some point, as a gift to yourself. Dare to get help.

Finally, it is also important to take into account the fact that coaching is meant to be quick and efficient and lasts much less time than other approaches.

I want to make coaching accessible to as many people as possible, so I don't charge exorbitant prices, nor do I charge prices comparable to those in a corporate environment.

Is there anything to do between sessions?

Each coaching session ends with the choice of actions to accomplish for the next time and I also offer the opportunity to do exercises when it seems right and appropriate.

How do you work?

My coaching sessions take place online. Typically a session lasts 1 hour. We have the same results being online than meeting in person, I assure you.

I work in French and English depending on your preferences and we don't need to be in the same city.
